On September 25th, I’ll be leading an Advocacy 101 session designed to make advocacy accessible, practical, and powerful.
So often, advocacy feels like shouting into the void or something reserved only for people with political connections. But the truth is: each of us has a voice, and when we use it strategically, it can drive real change.
This session will walk through:
✅ How to engage with policymakers (without needing a law degree)
✅ Why storytelling matters more than statistics alone
✅ Practical steps to advocate for the issues that matter most to you and your community
We’ll be focusing on expanding access to substance use disorder treatment and recovery, but the strategies apply to anyone passionate about social change.
Now more than ever, our collective voices are needed to advance policies rooted in health, dignity, and equity.
I’d love for you to join me. Details here: https://lnkd.in/eX5FHtpq
